"It is the client who knows what hurts, what directions to go, what problems are crucial, what experiences have been deeply buried."
~ Carl Rogers

There are many many reasons that people seek counselling for and ultimately, it's a place where you can begin to make sense of what is going on for you. Probably, right now you don’t really know what is wrong but just that things don’t feel right. You may be seeking counselling for depression, low mood or you just might want someone to talk to.

I understand how difficult it can be to manage the stress and everyday challenges that life might be throwing at you and I believe that everyone deserves to feel fulfilled and empowered in their lives. My drive is to provide an empathetic and understanding space where you can work through what is going on for you.

For some of us it can be that feeling of dread when waking up each day and just wishing it was bedtime already. This can be draining and leave you exhausted before your day has even begun. It can be difficult to have any motivation or focus on the day ahead when all you can think about is simply getting through to the end of the day.

Relationships can really suffer when we find ourselves at a low point in life. Not just personal or professional relationships but even your relationship with yourself. Maybe you find yourself avoiding social meetings, doing what you can to get out of meeting up with friends and colleagues. If this sounds familiar to you then you’ve come to the right place.

Having a safe and confidential space in counselling to work through the thoughts and feelings that ebb away at you can help you make sense of them. Together we can begin to work out why these thoughts and feelings are there in the first place.

If you feel you would like to explore the opportunity to have some space and time just for you, then please do feel free to call or email.

"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction not a destination."
~ Carl Rogers

If you feel ready to move on from your current stresses and strains and want to find some contentment, then counselling is the place where that can happen.

While the thought of going to counselling can feel a little daunting the process can be quite enlightening as you start to gain a better understanding of what is going on for you.

Taking your space and allowing yourself the chance to feel excited about life again can help you to finally start waking up and looking forward to the day ahead without having the usual feelings of dread and despair.
There can be a sense of wondering whether you are entitled too, or deserve to be in therapy.

For some people it can feel rather indulgent to go into therapy. There may be guilt about spending money on yourself especially if you have a family or partner and there may be concerns that this is time away from your loved ones. Counselling can fit in easily around busy lifestyles, and it’s worth thinking about the benefits to not only yourself but also your family.

Sometimes our relationships can suffer when we aren’t in such a great place and investing your in yourself financially and having a little time for you can help with relationships and feeling more settled in life general.
Does the idea of embracing life again and having better relationships with yourself and others appeal to you?
Do you want to get a point where you wake up motivated and excited about the day ahead? Then counselling could be the place to help you get your life back on track.

While the journey isn't always easy and big changes don't happen over night, it can be so invigorating finding out about yourself on what can be such a  life changing path.
